Mardi Gras TruthBOMB

Why do we Celebrate Mardi Gras?

The carnal answer is obvious but good…

We work for GOOD TIMES!

It's a time to gather with friends and family and make new friends and family. Eating and Drinking and just being grateful for the day, full of color, and rhythm, dancing in good company. Honestly, as long as there's no extremely bad practices, you may not suffer many consequences… Hopefully not even a hang-over.

On the other hand, observing and taking in the moments, being inspired by the joyful atmosphere. Thanking GOD for the opportunity to remember times of old and being blessed with the knowledge of truth, and inspired enough to share… Okay shamefully, the latter, not so much…In my experience, it appears that a large portion of us embrace the tradition of our ancestors; and few try to seek the truth in remembrance, and purpose of holidays and Holydays.

The Root of Mardi Gras...

"Mardi Gras history actually extends all the way back to the days before Christianity in Ancient Rome, and has roots in pagan spring festivals." - Erin Cavoto

Origins of Mardi Gras

The Great Easter Hist?

Well, I'm not gonna go back that far… Like all pagan holidays they are cleverly positioned around biblical 'HOLYdays.' and we know why, anything to distract from the TRUTH which makes us free.
Here's some water:
The thief cometh not, but for to STEAL, and to KILL, and to DISTROY: I AM come that they might have LIFE, and that they might have it more ABUNDANTLY. I AM the GOOD SHEPHERD: the GOOD SHEPHERD giveth HIS LIFE for the SHEEP. [John 10:10-11]

...and ye shall know THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH shall make you FREE. [John 8:32]

THE SPIRIT of the LORD GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach GOOD TIDINGS unto the MEEK; HE hath sent me to BIND UP the BROKENHEARTED, to PROCLAIM LIBERTY to the CAPTIVES, and THE OPENING of the PRISON to THEM that ARE bound; [Isaiah 61:1]

So it didn’t take long or much research to discover the roots of Mardi Gras is pagan (worldly and worship of self).

More importantly, what Biblical HOLYday did Mardi Gras leading up to Easter, hijack and make less important in the world?

Holidays vs. Holydays

The purpose of Holidays (secular, selfish, worldly, and godly) and Holydays come from YAH and are selfless and Biblical.

Looking at the purpose for each holiday and Holyday surrounding Easter might give us a clue and back to the true purpose of worship or a reason to have a great party, you choose…

Pleasure over Purpose?

Holidays like Mardi Gras: practice pleasure over purpose and is self-worshiping. Of Course Our FATHER IN HEAVEN and SON strongly disagree of the extreme selfish behavior of these 'gatherings', and more importantly leaving HIM out. I'm Just say'n...

  • Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday): March 4

-Purpose: to prepare for Lent and Easter (Traditionally the last day of gluttony behavior before the 'great fast') 'do as you wilt' day; 'anything goes day' you get the point…

  • Lent/Ash Wednesday: March 5-17

-Purpose: 13-day fast, purge ones flesh before the Spring equinox with 3 days to spare.

  • The Spring Equinox: March 20

-Purpose: 'First day of Spring' rebirth and renew, worship of the Sun (Pagan)

Good Friday: April 18

Purpose - In remembrance of JESUS CHRIST crucifixion and died on the cross at Calvary after being sentenced to death by Pontius Pilate.
Palm Sunday: The week before Good Friday April 13th - In remembrance of the time JESUS enters into Jerusalem.
During this time Israelites are NOT eating leavened bread; and ARE Depending on YAH for everything they need.

Easter: April 20

Purpose-In remembrance of JESUS' resurrection. After JESUS was crucified on the Friday his body was taken down from the cross and buried in a cave tomb.

On this day, the Israelites are in remembrance of a day of thanks to YAH for HIS SON, The LAMB who like Moses leads us out of slavery, bondage of sin; and has and will continue to transform our minds leading us back into the Promised Land.

Holydays like Passover: worship in remembrance with YAH and the Lamb, HIS SON; and is selfless worship. Not what we did for ourselves but what YAH did for us.

  • Passover

Sundown of Saturday, April 12 - Sunday evening, April 20th
-Purpose: Pesach in Hebrew, is a HolyDay that celebrates the Israelites' escape from slavery in Egypt. Passover symbolizes themes of liberation, faith, justice, compassion, and solidarity with those who are oppressed.

Note: this HolyDay is ONLY measured by the spring equinox. The Spring Equinox is not celebrated.

  • Feast of Unleavened Bread

Sunday April 13 - Saturday April 19-Purpose: They were to remember the urgency of their escape and their dependence on YAH every year by getting rid of leaven before the Feast of Unleavened Bread and eating unleavened bread during that seven-day festival (Exodus 13:3-10).

  • The Feast of First Fruits

Sunset on Saturday, April 19 - Nightfall Sunday, April 20 -Purpose: served as a reminder to the Israelites of YAH's provision in the Promised Land. Ultimately, the Israelites were to acknowledge that YAH had rescued them from slavery in Egypt and provided them a place to live and grow crops.

The Days of Moses and Passover

When I study the differences I realize the feast of old tell the story of my ancestors gradually moving into slavery and the transformation coming out of slavery. This is also the story of my life and many others. The difference was the reckoning of the slavery being a toxin in the land.

The Days of Moses and Passover Celebrate the Remembrance of what it took for the Israelites to escape slavery, when it was time to go, there was no hesitation, they couldn’t even wait for the bread to rise…
The feast of old is in remembrance of how YAH provided for the Israelites bring them to the promised land. All HE ask is that we don’t eat leavened bread for 7 days and so did the SON of GOD- Beware of the leavened bread. [Mathew 16:6,12] precept upon precept

In other words, don't eat all that is offered to you, stay away from the 'FAT Tuesday's' corrupting true indigenous worship with vanity. Although so beautiful and inspiring to any artist especially; but I have a baby toe to step on... 'If your Carnival Suit is too heavy, how can one move in it, how can one properly perform the worship dance?
The Ash Wednesday's showing public displays of sacrifice.
I wont get started on Easter... Brother Ron has amazing clarity on the issue and then start reading your Bibles...

TruthUNEDITED-The moment Paganism mixed with Christianity

The PASSOVER Lamb of YAH

So, those Holidays leading up to PASSOVER, the hijacked faith, are inherently pagan.

The Israelites main practice during the feast holydays is to NOT Eat the Leavened Bread... Don't stumble on The fake religion leading up no where good. Think about the practice of the real Faith of the PASSOVER Lamb of YAH. Believe Easter exist; but also know it's not of YAH.

I was once told 'you gotta take the meat and leave the bones'

;but I say, 'you gotta take the Meat and Pray for the bones'... HalleluYAH
